I was recently challenged by a friend to read all 23 Beatrix Potter stories. These stories are definitely classics. I checked the book out from the library so we could start right away.
Our first story was the Tale of Peter Rabbit. Elliya said her favorite part was when Peter jumped in the watering can. I'm really not surprised at that one! This was the perfect story to bring in the discussion of obedience and consequences of disobedience.
