Chess Cake

This is my husband's favorite dessert and I make it for him every year for his birthday.

1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted

Mix and spread in a 9x13 pan.

1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1 box powdered sugar

Mix and pour over the "crust" that you just made.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool and cut into small squares.
