Back in the Routine

Posts are few and far between as we get back into the school routine.

I can't believe I have a second grader. She is enjoying her new school. Her teacher is calm and quiet which I think will be good for my chatter box. It was a {not sure of the right word here} decision to put her in public school. Several factors contributed to that decision. As the new school year approached I had a constant pit in my stomach. I finally realized it was a fear of the unknown. Public schools are so different now than when I went. I've only taught in Christian schools due to my certification so naturally that is where E started out. I was finally able to put it all into words. Being a part of the public school system has gotten us out of our nice, protective bubble. It has forced me to pray more diligently for E.
